Bring the whole family to Compass Rose Theater’s Student Production of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland,” adapted by Charlotte Chorpenning. This whimsical tale takes us back to one of our favorite childhood stories, with a new look at Wonderland where up is down, down is up, and there is no time (even though the White Rabbit is always late). With her perceptive eye, Mrs. Chorpenning has adapted this famous story for audiences of every age. Chasing the White Rabbit, Alice tumbles down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. She meets all its famous residents: the King of Hearts, Red Queen, White Queen, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Gryphon, Mock Turtle, the Dormouse, Mad Hatter and March Hare, the Frog Footman, the Dutchess, the Caterpillar and White Rabbit. It runs weekends, July 19-28, evenings, and matinees.
